Basel sits where three countries meet, and EuroAirport has separate French and Swiss exits leading to separate road networks. Choosing the wrong one puts a border between you and your driver.
The Bernese Oberland: Where the Road Works and Where It Stops
Interlaken, Grindelwald and Gstaad are road destinations. Wengen, Mürren and Gimmelwald have no road at all. Knowing which valley point serves which village is most of the work.
